About us

INTERNATIONAL AMBULANCE was established after Hungary had joined the European Union. The founders are the owners and managers of the biggest alternative ambulance services of the country. It aims to provide high, European standard, full scope health services even over the borders.

The founders are Európa Mentőszolgálat (Europe Ambulance Service) and Samaritanus Mentőszolgálat (Samaritan Ambulance Service).

The manager, who was the first in Hungary to establish an alternative ambulance service, was also the president and one of the founders of Magyar Betegszállítók Egyesülete (Hungarian Ambulance Services Association). He was also the president of Sürgősségi Feladatokat Ellátók Egyesülete (Emergency Workers Association). Now he is the partner-president of Vállalkozók Országos Szövetség Egészségügyi Szekciója.

Our histroy

The firm began its activity with special tasks, like providing and taking part in the health background of film shootings. At present, International Ambulance Ltd. is providing health duty and ambulance participation for TV2 Interactive Production programme producer firm. For example, we provide the ambulance background of Jóban Rosszban series.

From October 2004 we launched ÉLETVONAL 24 service, which is a special 24-hour signalling and emergency system (www.eletvonal24.hu).

Our contracted partners are for example: Szolnok Megye jogú Város (Szolnok County Capital), Budapest II. kerületi Önkormányzat Gondozó szolgálata (Budapest 2nd District Self-government Caring Service), AWW Foundation.

Since 01 February 2005 we have been providing the 24-hour Child and Adult medical duty service of Érd and its surroundings. We are responsible for the duty service of almost 80,000 people.

Since 01 May 2005, in cooperation with the National Ambulance Service, we set off a special mobile clinic that is operating in the so-called PARAMEDIC system and this, at present, is unique in Hungary.

Since 16 August 2005, with a commission, we temporarily took over the operation of the medical duty service of Budapest 22.th district.

Since 01 January 2006 We took over the central medical duty service of Ercsi and its surroundings.

Since 01 May 2006, with a commission, we temporarily took over the operation of the medical duty service of Budapest 6-7.th district.

Since 01 June 2007 we have been providing the 24-hour central medical duty service of Biatorbágy.

Since 01 September 2007 we have been providing the new 24-hour central medical duty service of XIX.th district of Budapest.

The firm is developing dynamically day to day in the field of medical services.
Presently it is responsible for the basic services of almost 460,000 people
